When the holidays roll around, I get a little carried away with sprinkling glitz all around. Shimmery rose-gold eyeshadow, twinkling white lights in an evergreen wreath, and silver sugar flakes for snow white-iced cupcakes all help reflect a bright, festive feel. Even the couch cushions are fair game!
I adore the subtle sheen of the off-white fabric, filigreed with delicate silver floral embroidery and small clusters of silver sequins. The soft square shape is anchored with a silver-gold center button. This decorative cushion is evocative of Renaissance glamour, and would contrast particularly well against a dark (faux) fur throw, or as the centerpiece among rich jewel-toned throw pillows.

Add a warm throw, a hot cup of jasmine green tea (I recommend Dilmah green tea with jasmine flowers, a single-source Ceylon tea with a calming and cleansing feel), and a classic book – perhaps Pride and Prejudice. My holiday winter day is complete.
In this lovely time of the year that is an all-too-short respite, how do you luxuriate and unwind?
