Black & Silver Style Accents

In the retail world, it’s mid-summer Black Friday season; aka the Nordstrom Anniversary sale! This is a great opportunity to snag designer brands (both new trends and established favorites) for the cooler months ahead. Of if you’re in SF, you can wear them immediately. 🙂 One of my recs from the sale are Clarks ‘Rosepoint Dew’ booties, a simple, slim suede bootie that’s sleek, versatile, and ridiculously comfortable.

To keep a summery look while staying warm in cool, breezy 60s weather, this light cotton shirt dress (with matching pastel pink-violet nails!) was perfect with a ruffled-layer blazer. Love the striped lining shown with the rolled cuffs! Semi-sheer nylons keep things light but dressy, and bold silver hardware interspersed throughout satisfies my love of bling. 🙂

A BCBG studded belt and multi-chain bracelet add a slight bit of edge, as does the signature sliding bar and chain of the Rachel Zoe bag. All together, it’s a nice balance of soft and hard; an entirely effortless look.
